Lincoln Renewable signs two solar PPAs with SoCal Edison

Developer Lincoln Renewable Energy has entered into 20-year power purchase agreements (PPAs) for two solar projects in San Bernadino County totaling 37.5MW with Southern California Edison.

Terms were not made public. Construction will begin on the 25MW Marathon and neighboring 12.5MW Agincourt in 2013. They will provide power for 14,000 households.

“With its huge solar resources, California represents an enormous opportunity for solar power developers and customers alike,” says Lincoln Renewable chief executive Declan Flanagan.

“California customers will benefit from the low-cost, fixed-price, clean and native energy these two projects will produce for decades to come.”
