(CIS),
a
Mexican/Spanish
joint
venture,
would
be
located
in
Hermosillo,
Sonora
state.
CIS
has
signed
several
25-year
power-purchase
agreements
(PPAs)
with
municipalities
throughout
the
region
for
the
energy
produced
by
the
plant,
including
Empalme
and
Guaymas.
Martifer
will
build,
operate
and
maintain
the
project.
A
first
phase
should
be
up
and
running
by
the
end
of
the
