Diego,

20
miles
away.
The
Tijuana
plant
was
opened
with
significant
fanfare,
including
the
presentation
of
a
ceremonial
cheque
by
the
governor
of
the
state
of
Baja,
who
underscored
Tijuana’s
desire
to
play
a
role
in
the
emerging
clean-tech
space.
Siliken
hired
an
initial
180
employees
at
the
factory
and
touted
plans
to
boost
its
Mexican
workforce
to
500
by
2013.
