deal
comes
after
the
European
Commission
said
it
would
launch
an
investigation
into
the
alleged
dumping
of
Chinese
panels
on
European
markets.
Suntech,
the
world’s
largest
solar
panel
maker,
warned
against
"protectionist
measures"
that
it
claimed
would
push
up
costs
and
threaten
jobs.

stand

with
the
majority
of
European
and
global

in
the
solar
industry
in
supporting
free
trade.
"Until
the
issue
is
resolved,
we
will
continue
to
work
with
our
customers
and
partners
to
ensure
business
as
usual,"
