The shape the industry takes on 1 January 2014 is likely to be the way it remains, predicts Ben Hill, head of Trina Solar in Europe.

“The companies still on their feet in 2014 will be in a position to flourish and prosper,” Hill tells Recharge. “Until then, it’s going to be a very tough time for everybody.

“I actually expected the consolidation process to progress more quickly than it has done. I expect we’ll still see a lot more of it.”
