China's GCL-Poly sells 92MW of California PV for $266m

The US subsidiary of China’s GCL-Poly has sold 92MW of PV developments in California for $266m.

GCL Solar Energy sold the Alpaugh 50 and Alpaugh North projects to an unnamed New York-based renewables developer, its Chinese parent told investors in Hong Kong.

The Alpaugh plants are due to be completed by the end of the 2012 and have 25-year power purchase agreements with a regional power company.
