The
630kW
rooftop
installation
at
Beit
Shemesh,
some
30km
west
of
Jerusalem,
represents
the
second
order
for
Conergy
from
Tel
Aviv-listed
shopping
centre
group
BIG,
which
operates
more
than
a
dozen
malls
across
Israel.
The
project
soaked
up
2,600
Conergy
PowerPlus
modules
and
was
executed
by
Conergy’s
Greece
division,
which
has
expanded
its
operations
around
the
Mediterranean.
Conergy
says
it
intends
to
win
“many
more”
orders
from
BIG
in
combination
with
its
local
installation
partner,
Unirom
Electronics.
Israel
has
set
a
10%
renewables
target
for
2020
–
seen
as
a
modest
ambition…
