Conergy adds to Israel's PV momentum with mall roof project

The 630kW rooftop installation at Beit Shemesh

Conergy has completed another mid-sized PV installation atop a shopping mall in Israel, as an increasing number of developers and module makers embrace the Israeli market as offering significant near-term potential.

The 630kW rooftop installation at Beit Shemesh, some 30km west of Jerusalem, represents the second order for Conergy from Tel Aviv-listed shopping centre group BIG, which operates more than a dozen malls across Israel.

Conergy says it intends to win “many more” orders from BIG in combination with its local installation partner, Unirom Electronics.
