ReneSola will ship 6MW of its 250W Virtus modules to Perth-based Solargain and says it expects to supply more soon.

Xianshou Li, ReneSola chief executive, says the company has now shipped more than 40MW of modules to Australian customers in 2012 to date.

Sunergy has sealed a 7.8MW module sales contract with Urban Group Energy. Delivery of the equipment is due to be completed by the end of August.

The deals underline the growing momentum of Chinese suppliers in the Australian PV sector.
