The
R$8m
($4m)
project
will
be
built
on
the
roof
of
Eletrosul
headquarters
in
Florianópolis,
Santa
Catarina
state.
The
project
had
originally
been
budgeted
at
R$9.5m,
but
Efacec
and
its
Brazilian
subsidiary
came
in
15%
lower.
Elecnor,
Cymi
and
Kyocera
also
participated
in
the
tender.
Electricty
from
the
PV
installation,
made
up
of
4,000
modules,
will
be
sold
on
Brazil’s
unregulated
power
market.
The
project
is
due
to
come
on
line
during
2013.
