300MW

solar
on
120,000
housing
units
over
five
years,
contributing
to
a
Department
of
Defense
goal
of
25%
renewable
energy
by
2025.
Lend
Lease
manages
housing
at
military
bases
across
the
country,
including
Los
Angeles
Air
Force
Base
in
California
and
Peterson
and
Schriever
bases
in
Colorado
Springs,
Colorado.
Each
will
receive
solar
energy
systems
built,
installed
and
maintained
by
SolarCity.
The
systems
will
generate
some
6,400MWh
a
year,
powering
850
residences
in
total.
