glass,
says
it
will
continue
to
manufacture
thin-film
modules
in
the
German
state
of
Thuringia
–
mostly
for
use
in
building-integrated
PV
applications
–
as
well
as
receiver
tubes
for
concentrating
solar
power
(CSP)
projects.
But
the
decision
to
discontinue
its
entire
c-Si
division
–
which
had
capacities
of
nearly
500MW
for
both
cells
and
modules
–
represents
a
stunning
defeat
for
a
company
that
has
prided
itself
among
the
most
diversified
manufacturers
in
the
solar-energy
business.
