Chevron challenges STA project sales to BrightSource, NextEra

Chevron is challenging Solar Trust of America's proposed bankruptcy sale of development rights for two huge California projects to NextEra Energy Resources and BrightSource Energy.

Solar Trust of America (STA) seeks bankruptcy court approval of last week's sale of the 500MW Palen project to solar power tower developer BrightSource and the 1GW Blythe project to a unit of NextEra Energy Resources.
