The
Solar
Energy
Promotion
Alliance,
which
includes
major
Chinese
manufacturers
Suntech,
Yingli,
Trina
and
Canadian
Solar,
aims
to
work
together
to
reduce
the
tariffs
of
about
31%
proposed
in
a
May
ruling
by
the
Department
of
Commerce.
But
Julia
Hamm,
president
of
the
Solar
Electric
Power
Association,
fears
the
Chinese
group's
name
will
be
confused
with
that
of
her
own,
which
has
used
the
SEPA
acronym
since
2000.
