statement.
The
Liberal
National
Party
swept
into
office
in
March
–
led
by
former
Brisbane
Lord
Mayor
Campbell
Newman
–
committing
to
abolish
eight
of
the
previous
Labor
administration's
environmental
funds,
including
its
contribution
to
Solar
Dawn.
"If
we
can
exit
this
project
and
save,
I
think
it
is
A$75m,
we
will,”
Newman
said
at
the
time.
But
McArdle's

statement
says:
