The
Solar
Energy
Industries
Association
(SEIA),
which
spent
much
of
2011
inking
collaboration
agreements
with
state
and
regional
chapters,
now
brings
into
its
fold
the
Solar
Alliance
(SA).
The
latter
body
works
on
issues
critical
to
solar
that
are
often
decided
by
state
lawmakers
and
utility
commissioners,
such
as
net
metering
and
interconnection
standards.

from
the
Solar
Alliance

joining
SEIA
as
part
of
a
new
state
affairs
department,

by
