China’s
Ministry
of
Commerce
(
Mofcom)
said
it
had
decided
to
start
“a
trade
barrier
investigation
into
US
renewable
energy
support
policies
and
subsidies”
following
complaints
by
Chinese
companies.
It
comes
after
Solar
World
and
six
other
American
solar
companies
prompted
the
US
Department
of
Commerce
to
investigate
dumping
of
Chinese
solar
panels
on
the
US
market.
The
Mofcom
action
was
taken
in
response
to
complaints
filed
by
the
China
Chamber
of
Commerce
for
Import
and
Export
of
Machinery
and
Electronic
Products
