Spanish
group’s
$1.6bn
concentrating
solar
power
(CSP)
project
in
San
Bernardino
County
was
offered
a
conditional
guarantee
in
June.
The
confirmation
means
financing
is
now
complete
and
allows
construction
of
the
project
to
proceed,
says
Abengoa.

US
government
pledges
to
underwrite
debt
for
major
projects
via
the
loan
guarantees,
helping
developers
to
access
finance
on
the
commercial
market.
