The
Solar
Electric
Power
Association
(SEPA),
a
trade
group
representing
mainly
solar-owning
utilities,
says
the
top
10
operators
added
561MW
of
solar
capacity
to
their
systems
in
2010
–
a
year-on-year
doubling.
While
California's
utilities
maintained
their
hold
on
the
top
of
the
rankings,
those
from
beyond
the
Golden
State
represented
seven
of
the
top
10
in
terms
of
new
2010
capacity
and
accounted
for
nearly
two-thirds
of
the
solar
added
last
year.
