says
the
company,
a
specialist
in
parabolic
trough-based
concentrating
solar
power
(CSP),
now
intends
to
add
solar
tower
power
plants
and
PV
to
its
project
arsenal
in
the
“medium
to
long
term”.
The
new
strategy
will
prevent
Solar
Millennium
missing
out
on
projects
where
the
location
or
conditions
are
not
suitable
for
its
core
technology,
Wolff
says.
Solar
Millennium
set
up
a
research
and
development
team
last
year
to
work
on
solar
tower
CSP
systems.
It
is
also
pursuing
the
use
of
PV,
especially
in
combination
with
parabolic
