Brazil's Pure eyes module plant aid

Brazilian solar PV startup Pure Energy is seeking tax incentives from the state of Alagoas to build a solar panel assembly plant with capacity to produce 70MW of panels a year, the Alagoas government said.

Investment in the factory is estimated at R$73m ($31m).

Alagoas is in Brazil’s northeastern region and has one of the best insolation levels in the country.

According to Alagoas state, Pure Energy Geração de Energia also plans to build a large scale solar plant, a pilot solar-power smart grid residential condominium, and a CSP plant.
