wind
last
year

rise
on
2011's
6.8GW
–
driven
by
uncertainty
over
the
Production
Tax
Credit,
according
to
the
Global
Wind
Energy
Council.
California
led
the
US
solar
market
with
1.03GW
of
new
capacity,
followed
by
Arizona
(710MW)
and
New
Jersey
(415MW).

Carolina,
Massachusetts,
Hawaii,
Maryland,
Texas
and
New
York
rounded
out
the
top
10
