Strata
will
file
an
application
with
the
North
Carolina
Utilities
Commission
by
the
end
of
the
month
and
hopes
to
start
work
at
the
site
by
the
end
of
the
year.
Construction
would
take
about
10
months,
says
Strata,
which
has
so
far
concentrated
on
smaller
projects
in
the
sub-10MW
range.
The
total
cost
of
the
project
would
be
about
$250m,
with
Progress
Energy
Carolinas
named
as
a
possible
buyer
of
the
power
