The deal calls for Newman Solar LLC to develop, design, build and operate the Newman Solar ground-mounted PV project.
EPE will purchase the plant’s electricity, renewable energy credits and associated attributes over a 30-year period. The facility will interconnect to EPE’s new Patriot Substation via a dedicated 13.8 kV distribution feeder line.
The two companies say the PV plant will power more than 3,800 homes.
