The state’s grid manager saysthat solar electricity production has more than doubled from 7 June 2013, when itrecorded 2,07GW of peak production. Output has more than quadrupled since summer2012.
“This shows that California ismaking remarkable progress in not only getting new resources approved andconnected to the grid, but making meaningful contributions in keeping thelights on as well,” CAISO chief executive Steve Berberich.
