SolarWorld’s US unit – which led the campaign that ultimately resulted in tariffs being imposed on China’s PV equipment giants – claims the determinations “weakened resulting trade remedies” and has filed appeals against them.

Anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations led to the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposing duties ranging from 23.75% to 250%, which were confirmed in October 2012.
