It has finished building a 14MW (18.76MW DC) plant spanning a swath of forested land between the city of Soma, Fukushima prefecture, and the town of Marumori, Miyagi prefecture.
Canadian Solar supplied the PV modules.
The site lies just outside the northern edge of the Fukushima nuclear exclusion zone, which remains largely uninhabitable due to radiation from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
