Thirteen months ago Trina, the world’s largest maker of PV modules, engaged in a competitive bidding process and acquired a 90% stake in a project company developing a 300MW ground-mount solar project in the southern province of Yunnan.
The project will be the largest solar array in the province, and among the largest in China.
The first 70MW were installed during the second quarter, and another 133MW during the third quarter, Trina said Wednesday.
