After contracting 100% wind and solar in last week's power auction at record low prices, Chile is moving ahead with another tender for which the government hopes to guarantee a record presence of more than 10 new foreign bidders.

Among them are Brazil's federal power company, Eletrobras, Renova Energia, Minas Gerais state utility Cemig and investment bank BTG Pactual, says Andrés Romero, executive secretary of the Chilean government's National Energy Commission, CNE.
