Slated for completion at the end of this year, the 1GW Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park will be a landmark in the global transition to clean energy — the world’s largest PV facility by a considerable margin and the first ever gigawatt-scale non-hydro renewables project.

If all goes to plan, Quaid-e-Azam has the potential to kick-start a swathe of large-scale solar development across Asia and the wider world.
