SolarEdge, which went public last spring in the US, has grown rapidly over the past few years as its DC-optimised PV inverters proved a hit in the booming US residential solar market.
Elon Musk’s SolarCity has been a major buyer of SolarEdge’s inverters, and last month the company launched its StorEdge inverter, which is compatible with Tesla Motors’ PowerWall home battery system.
