The array – near the port of San Carlos City, in the middle part of the 7,100-island archipelago nation – is owned by San Carlos Solar Energy.
It was financed by ThomasLloyd Group and developed by local firm Bronzeoak Philippines as part of a 50MW, three-year incentive scheme to attract investment in solar that launched when the Philippines’ government set a renewable target of 15GW by 2030.
