Financial terms of the deal were not made public.
Green Power EMC says construction of the Hazelhurst project will begin in the second half this year with commercial operation scheduled for late 2015. It will become one of the largest solar facilities in the state and provide electricity for about 3,000 homes.
The company selected Silicon Ranch after issuing a request for proposals for solar power late last year.
