The 2.316MW project is located in West Nyack north of New York City on the west side of the Hudson River. The Town of Clarkstown will purchase the power under a 20-year agreement.
Completion is expected by mid-September.
The project was made possible partly through a multi-million dollar award that Clarkstown received from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) through Governor Andrew Cuomo's NY-Sun initiative.
