New figures from the analyst show the capacity added during the first half of 2014 was dominated by activity in the first quarter, which accounted for 80% of the figure as developers raced to beat a support-change deadline.
The residential segment is adding 80MW to 100MW per quarter while ground-mounted installations account for more than 75% of new solar capacity.
