EDF developed the project with Chicago-based Urban Green Technologies.
The ground-mount fixed tilt PV project is located on privately-owned land at the former Shirley Airport. All power will be sold under long-term contract to the Town of Billerica.
EDF Renewable Services will provide long-term operations and maintenance for the facility, balance of plant, project oversight, and 24/7 remote monitoring from its operations control center.
