The Ortaffa plant deploys 300,000 modules on 87 hectares of land that also hosts activities including wine growing, sheep farming and beekeeping.
The developer said it went to huge lengths to enable the mixed agricultural use, including the sowing of foraging crops for the sheep and honey-bearing plants for the bees.
The modules were sub-divided into 10 sections complete with hedges and brooks to allow the integration of the other features.
