Solar Frontier will provide the electronic components for the solar farm, including CIS modules, cables and inverters.
The project is expected to generate around 9.1GWh of electricity a year.
Construction work on the Somerset plant is expected to start in September 2014.
NEW believes the 40 acre site will create enough electricity to supply some 2,300 homes.
