The PV project in Kern County north of Los Angeles includes development of four sites through separate power purchase deals totaling 200MW. Two of sites totaling 112MW have been awarded to Hecate Energy and two others totaling 88MW to SunEdison.
LADWP has tied each of these contracts to development of a group of small-scale feed-in-tariff solar projects within LADWP’s service area.
