They did not reveal the PV module supplier for the project. A Renova spokesperson told Recharge that a Japanese company provided the panels, without disclosing further details.

Renova and Mitsuuroko built the plant in cooperation with Fuyo General Lease on a 4,400-hectare plot of land in Futtsu, Chiba prefecture.

The installation — which Renova claims is the largest in the greater Tokyo area — will annually generate enough electricity to supply 11,500 homes.
