The Chinese PV group will supply 250W and 255W PV modules for Low Carbon's planned 10.8MW installation at Bottom Plain, Dorset.

It will also deliver its Virtus I and II panels for a 15.6MW Cofely GDF Suez array at Bilsham Farm, Arundel. The project will provide electricity for roughly 3,600 households per year.

"We anticipate high demand for our modules over the next two quarters and have been working with our OEM partners to ensure stock will be available for all EPC contractors rushing to complete projects before anticipated changes in UK solar policy," ReneSola UK general manager Ian Glover said in an online statement.
