TRIG acquired the plants – worth a total of £73.7m ($123.9) – from a joint venture between developer British Solar Renewables and Santander.

The plants are in Dorset and Cornwall, in southwest England, and Norfolk in the country’s east.

They were all built by EPC specialist Isolux Corsán using modules from China’s ReneSola.

TRIG said its portfolio now totals about 398MW.
