Yingli will deliver more than 125,000 multicyrstalline modules to Spanish developer Gestamp Solar, which is building the PV plant on a disused golf course in Japan’s Ibaraki prefecture.
Gestamp said the plant is one of the largest yet developed in Japan by a foreign company.
The Spanish group announced in June that it would build the array, marking its first PV development in Japan.
