JinkoSolar did not release financial terms of the contract.
The project will utilize approximately 131,150 JinkoSolar's 305 Poly 72 high-efficiency PV solar modules. It is scheduled for completion in July 2015.
"We are solidifying our position as the market leader in Chile with the signing of this 40MW contract and further diversifying our geographic presence," says JinkoSolar chief executive Xiande Li.
"We have been very careful in selecting our business partners for big contracts such as this one.
