LS Power and Fluor broke ground on the new facility in December 2012.
The construction team installed more than 875,000 solar PV panels on the 6.5sq km site. Fluor will operate and maintain the plant for the next five years.
Centinela is the second major solar plant that Fluor has designed and built for LS Power. Last November, Fluor announced completion of the 125MW Arlington Valley Solar Energy II facility in Maricopa County, Arizona.
