AllEarth starts Vermont projects work

AllEarth Renewables has begun construction on nearly 5MW (ac) of PV projects in Vermont that will utilize its dual-axis solar tracker systems to provide power to 12 state government facilities.

They include correctional and office buildings including the office of Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin.

The ground-mounted solar systems will provide net metered electricity for each facility at below market rates through long-term energy contracts, and represent Vermont’s largest public solar initiative to date.

AllEarth Renewables is manufacturing the solar trackers in Willston, Vermont.

The initial three, 500kW projects will enter operation this year. They will each have 1,560 SunPower 345-watt solar panels.

Alternative Energy Development Group based in Philadelphia if financing the initial 1.5MW of projects.
