Mitsubishi Electric supplied the PV modules.

The ¥6bn ($55.9m) project is the largest solar plant in the city of Kitakyushu, Fukuoka prefecture, on the northern tip of the island of Kyushu.

It will generate enough electricity to supply power to 5,800 households per year.

NTT Facilities provided EPC services for the plant.

Eneseed Hibiki, a subsidiary of Fukuoka-based Saibu Gas, has a 51% interest in the project, while Asahi Glass holds the remaining stake.
