Construction on the 48MW photovoltaic solar installation in Boulder City started in January. It is now delivering electricity to the grid.
Sempra Generation, based in San Diego, expects the project to be fully operational later this year.
Power from the Copper Mountain plant is being provided to Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).
