Construction company D.P.E.S. s.r.o,. based in Prague, awarded Siemens the contract. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The plant, with a rating of 4 megawatts peak (MWp), will be erected in Dobré Pole, around 50 kilometres south of Brno, the second-largest city in the Czech Republic.
After completion, scheduled for the end of this year, the facility will provide nearly 1,000 homes with power, according to Siemens.
