German company Phoenix will act as general contractor for the ground-mounted facility in Borgo Piave, in the Lazio region.
It will be responsible for the planning and building of the solar power plant.
Phoenix will continue to provide Canadian energy company Etrion with operation and maintenance services after the facility is complete.
Trina Solar crystalline solar modules and SMA inverters will be used at the facility.
