Thailand-based Green Earth Power also said it is negotiating tobuild another 200MW solar plant in the country, near either Yangon or Mandalay, according to TheNation.
A Green Earth Power official told the Bangkok-based daily thecompany expects to sign a power purchase agreement with Myanmar's government withinthe next three months. Construction of the project will likely be completed ayear and a half after that agreement is signed.
